Nkoa
Raconter l'essentiel
Telling What Matters
NKOA – The Child of the Forest was born from a deep desire: to go beyond a simple adventure story and create a contemporary fable about our relationship with the living world.
Two Children, Two Worlds Nkoa, a young guardian of the forest initiated into ancestral knowledge. Léa, a girl from a modern, hyperconnected world. Their encounter explores the possibility of a dialogue between two seemingly opposite visions — that ultimately complete each other.
A Cultural Richness to Reveal
By rooting the story in the equatorial forest of Gabon and in the culture of the Fang people, the film brings to light a spirituality and cultural richness still rarely represented in international animated cinema.
A Message of Hope The forest — a living memory where humans, animals and spirits intertwine. Two children learning to listen and unite their strengths. NKOA carries the belief that a new generation can reconcile humanity with nature.
A poetic, spectacular and deeply meaningful film.
